The mission of the newly formed Rothchild Eye Foundation for Children is to help underprivileged children that are blind, or have severe eye disease. Now that there is sophisticated medical technology available to help restore eyesight in children, Dr. Eric Rothchild of Boca Raton, Florida feels that a child should be able to obtain care and not be deprived due to economic reasons. Children that have an eye disease that are in need of advanced eye care and do not have the economic means to obtain such, are now able to receive care through The Rothchild Eye Foundation for Children. This will include eye surgery such as cornea transplants or any other microsurgical procedure.
