Demar Brown

On Monday, August 13th 2001, the nine year old received a cornea transplant to save the child from going blind. Dr. Rothchild performed the surgery free of charge for Demar.
The surgery took place at the BROSLC/Boca Raton Outpatient Laser & Surgery Center on Glades Road in Boca Raton, Florida.
BROSLC also donated their facility free for the surgery. A number of TV and newspaper media were there cover the little Jamaican boy’s surgery and interview Dr. Rothchild, Demar Brown, and his family.
